§ 3.4. Prohibitions.

A. The Mayor may not hold any other City office, any other elected office or be a City employee while serving as Mayor.

B. The Mayor shall, except for the purpose of inquiries and investigations, deal with City officials and employees who are subject to the direction and supervision of the City Manager solely through the City Manager and shall not give orders to any such official or employee, either publicly or privately.
