§ 10.56.060. Residential parking permits.

  • Any resident of Oskaloosa who lives within the area defined by A Avenue on the north, Second Avenue on the south, Third Street on the east and Penn Central Mall on the west, is eligible to purchase a residential parking permit from the city clerk. Said permit will allow the vehicle for which the permit is issued to park in any designated eighteen-hour city parking lot in excess of the eighteen-hour time limit as established in Section 10.56.020 of this chapter. Permits shall be purchased in time periods and at a fee as shall be established by the city council. Permits are not transferable to other vehicles without approval by the city and shall not be transferable to another individual. Permits shall be displayed in the manner prescribed by city council.
