§ 4.2. Accountability; Removal.

The City Manager is under the direction and supervision of the Council and holds office at its pleasure. Unless otherwise provided by contract, a City Manager removed by the Council is enTitled to receive termination pay of not less than one month's salary, computed from the date of the resolution of removal, unless removal is the result of an illegal act.
