§ 2.11. Prohibitions.

  • A. A Councilmember may not hold any other City office, any other elected office or be a City employee while serving on the City Council.

    B. Councilmembers, as policy makers, shall, except for the purpose of inquiries and investigations, deal with City officials and employees who are subject to the direction and supervision of the City Manager solely through the City Manager; neither the Council nor its members shall give orders to any such official or employee, either publicly or privately.
